F wie "Fantastisches Casual Lady Pattern" / F is for "Fantastic Casual Lady Pattern"

Heute nur ein ganz kurzer Blogbeitrag, den ich hoffentlich noch schnell schaffe bevor der kleine Mann sein Vormittagsschläfchen beendet. Ich stell euch hier zwei Shirts vor die ich nach dem tollen "Casual Lady Pattern" von Go To Patterns genäht hab. Das Shirt hat Flügelärmel, somit entfällt lästiges Ärmel einsetzen. Da es mit Besatz genäht wird, ergibt es außerdem einen sehr edlen Abschluss an Hals- und Ärmelausschnitten. Ich hab zuerst das schwarz-pinke Shirt genäht. Die Stoffe sind aus meiner Restekiste: Ein schwarzes T-Shirt von meinem Mann und ein pinkes Spannbetttuch (wie krass!) meiner Schwiegerleute mussten dran glauben. Ich wollte erst sicher gehen, dass die Größe passt, bevor ich in den schönen Vogelstoff reinschneide. Ich hab das ganze in Größe L genäht und so leicht tailliert und unten ausgestellt umschmeichelt es die Figur wirklich sehr schön. Für mich bisher mein absoluter Lieblingsschnitt für Frauen, zumindest wenn's um dehnbare Stoffe geht. Die Anleitung ist wieder sehr schön Schritt für Schritt bebildert. Toll ist vor allem auch dass nochmal erklärt wird wie man Jerseystoffe auch ohne Overlock mit der normalen Nähmaschine nähen kann. Das ganze ging so schnell und leicht zu  nähen und das Ergebnis ist find ich einfach toll. Sogar meine Mama hat bei mir bereits einmal das exakt gleich Shirt in Auftrag gegeben.

Today just a short blog post, which I hope to finish before my son finishes his nap. These are two shirts sewn from the Casual Lady pattern by Go To Patterns. It has cap sleeves and the neck and arm hole are finished with facing. Thus it gives a very clean product. I first sewed the black-pink shirt using an old black tee from my husband and a pink jersey sheet from my in-laws as I wanted to check the size. I sewed a size L and the fit is perfect. I really like the slightly fitted at the waist and opens up towards the hips. Perfect for my body shape. Afterwards I sewed with the beautiful birds fabric and this turned out to be one of my favorite shirts this summer. The instructions of the pattern are very detailed and step by step and I love that sewing knit with the normal sewing machine is explained, too. This definitely is my favorite women knit pattern so far. It was such a fast and easy sew, yet the result is really beautiful. Even my mum wants me to make the exact same shirt for her.
