Abilmente Make Nr 2: Louisa dress / Genäht auf der Abilmente Nr 2.: Louisa Kleid

 

Last week I showed you already the Lotta dress that I sewed for Marte's daughter Nore during Abilmente. Of course I couldn't only sew a dress for Nore. Wouldn't be fair if I left one of the twins without a dress, right? I sewed a Louisa dress for Lisa. The pattern includes many different variations for the back. Due to the circumstances at the fair (sewing for some minutes here and there, not so easy to concentrate), I chose the most basic version. As I mentioned already last week, Marte brought some fabric combinations with her to the fair and we then decided together which one I was going to sew. 

Letzte Woche hab ich euch ja schon das Lotta Kleid gezeigt, dass ich für Martes Tochter Nore während der Abilmente genäht habe. Natürlich konnte ich nicht nur etwas für Nore nähen. Wär schließlich ziemlich unfair wenn nur ein Zwillling was neues bekommt... Deshalb gab's noch eine Louisa für Lisa. Der Schnitt enthält verschiedene Varianten für den Rücken. Doch aufgrund der Umstände an der Messe (ich wurde ja oft unterbrochen und konnte mich nicht so lange konzentrieren), hab ich mich für die einfachste Variante entschieden. Wie letzte Woche schon erwähnt, hat Marte verschiedene Stoffkombinationen auf die Messe mitgebracht und ich hab mich dann entschieden welche ich nähen wollte.

 

I really loved the grey fabric with the little colorful crosses and the solid mint was the perfect match. Together with the super beautiful mint vintage buttons and the white piping, it really turned out beautiful! You know that I'm a big fan of the Lotta dress pattern, but I sure love this big pocket in the front, too. Perfect to collect many, many shells at the sea.

Mir gefiel der graue Stoff mit den bunten Kreuzen zusammen mit dem einfarbigen Stoff in Mint sehr gut. Dazu noch die tollen Vintageknöpfe und etwas weiße Paspel - einfach schön. Ihr wisst ja, dass ich ein Fan vom Lotta Schnitt bin, aber die große Tasche vorne auf der Louisa ist wirklich perfekt zum Muschelsammeln am Meer...

Marte hat das Kleid gleich auf der Messe ausgestellt und viele, viele Leute haben angehalten und es sich angeschaut. Marte hat wirklich ein gutes Auge für Stoffe und Stoffkombinationen.
